Naniloa Volcanoes Resort has 325 air-conditioned guestrooms in the 12-floor Mauna Loa Wing, the nine-floor Mauna Kea Wing, and the six-floor Kilauea Wing. Rooms have island decor and feature large windows and original artwork by local artist Kristie Fujiyama Kosmides.

The Naniloa Volcanoes Resort is located on the eastern edge of downtown Hilo. Taxis are also available.
Parking at the hotel is complimentary. Although parking downtown is limited, it is usually available at no charge. A city bus is also available to make the rounds of Hilo.
Best bet: A rental car. Car rentals are available online.
