Spread throughout the 19-floor Pali tower and the 14-floor Diamond Head tower, the 450 air-conditioned rooms in the Castle Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki all open to lanais with chairs and views of the Pacific Ocean, Diamond Head, or Honolulu’s city lights. Rooms feature soft island decor.

The open-air Waikiki Trolley sells one-day, unlimited-travel passes with service to downtown, Waikiki, and along the coast. Oahu’s bus system offers connections around the island with fees starting at $2 for a one-way ticket; a bus stop on Kuhio Avenue is steps from the hotel. Most visitors with plans to venture away from Waikiki prefer rental cars. Car rentals are available online.
