These extra-large units feature bright and airy island-style decor and spacious patios or lanais. Views are of the golf course or the ocean. Amenities include full kitchens, wet bars, washer/dryers, and VCRs. Rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and cross-ventilation, unless an air-conditioning unit is requested (fee).
All rooms are nonsmoking.

Keahole-Kona International Airport (KOA): Approximate driving time to the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona is 25 minutes and distance is 15 miles.
Driving directions from Keahole-Kona International: Turn right onto State Hwy 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy), then continue on State Hwy 11. Turn right onto Kamehameha III Rd and go about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Munakai St and follow it to the end.
Getting there: A rental car is the best option from the airport, especially since most guests will want a car anyway for sightseeing.
Getting around: The best option for sightessing on the Big Island is a rental car. Guest parking at the hotel is complimentary.
