Geared to golfers, this 85-unit gated condominium resort is surrounded by lush fairways. Condo units are situated in four three-story buildings of pale stucco with red tile roofs. All units have extra-large lanais with views of the tropical gardens or golf course. Upscale furnishings are island-inspired, and amenities include full kitchens, washer/dryers, and VCRs. High-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge. These units have ceiling fans and air conditioning.

Driving directions from Keahole-Kona: From the airport, turn left onto State Hwy 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) north and continue for about 17 miles. Turn left on Waikoloa Beach Dr. At the third stop sign, turn right onto Keana Pl. The entrance gate is on the left.
Getting there: A rental car is the best option for getting to the hotel from the airport, especially for guests who plan to do some sightseeing. Airport shuttles are also available ($16–$25; fees subject to change without notice). Car rentals are available online.
Getting around: A rental car is essential for taking in the many sights on the Big Island. Guest parking at ResortQuest Shores st Waikoloa is complimentary.
